REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience in marketing research, data analysis, or related roles, with a focus on e-commerce platforms and online marketplaces.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or similar systems.
- Proficiency in analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and extract meaningful insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present findings and recommendations effectively, and also the ability to speak confidently directly with consumers.
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all deliverables.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, while also capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a dynamic business environment.

Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
We are seeking a Marketing Research Specialist with a keen understanding of e-commerce dynamics to join our team. As a Marketing Research Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive market research, analyzing trends, interacting with both existing and prospective customers, and providing insights to enhance our e-commerce strategies. The ideal candidate should possess a strong analytical mindset, exceptional attention to detail, a trustworthy customer-facing presence, and a passion for staying ahead in the dynamic e-commerce landscape.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, consumer behaviors, and competitive landscapes in the industry.
Analyze market data, including sales figures, website traffic, and customer engagement metrics, to derive actionable insights for optimizing marketing strategies.
- Conduct surveys and leverage other market data to contact churned customers, find out why they didn’t return, and work on ways to get them to re-engage.
- Utilize various channels to identify and prospect potential new customer leads, including online research, cold calling, networking, and social media.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement targeted marketing campaigns and promotional activities tailored to the e-commerce environment.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing initiatives, leveraging analytics tools and metrics to measure effectiveness and ROI.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, technological advancements, and best practices in e-commerce marketing to recommend innovative approaches and tactics.
- Assist in the development of consumer personas, segmentation strategies, and customer journey mapping to enhance the overall e-commerce experience.
- Support the creation of compelling content, product descriptions, and messaging strategies optimized for online platforms and digital channels.
- Collaborate with external vendors, agencies, and partners to execute marketing campaigns and initiatives aligned with business objectives.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of marketing processes, tools, and methodologies to drive efficiency and effectiveness in e-commerce operations.
