JOB SUMMARY

The Marketing Specialist will develop, execute, and monitor online and offline marketing events such as workshops, Lunch & Learns, online webinars, as well as assist the team on trade shows in Germany. The main responsibilities include but not limited to building offline/online event strategy to optimize marketing event activation and raise company awareness, managing offline/online events throughout the entire of their life cycle. The specialist must be able to gain a thorough understanding of our products and services, work with a multitude of stakeholders and represent the Company in a professional manner while positively shaping the ACROBiosystems’ identity, profile, and visibility within the life science community. The specialist must also be able to work the occasional night and/or weekend, to provide on-site event and internal team support.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS – EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in life science or related discipline required.At least 1 years’ experience with Events, Exhibitions, activations organization

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS – EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of B2B or B2C marketing experience, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical industry preferred.English and Mandarin bilingual preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Proficiency in marketing solutions and applications such as Salesforce, Adobe, Canva and Constant Contact, or other similar tools; as well as Microsoft Office especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent team player with a positive attitude to go above and beyond.

  • Must be willing to travel to marketing events and activities.
  • The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.

Responsibilities:

  • Build offline and online event strategy to optimize marketing event activation and raise company awareness.
  • Communicate and manage marketing and internal teams’ promotion material needs and logistics.
  • Support and coordinate related logistics related to trade shows/events; connect with different vendors and carriers to assure the events run smoothly.
  • Manage and execute trade show-related marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g., social media, direct mail, and web).
  • Work with internal teams and external partners to deliver online webinars & events, offline lunch and learn events, workshops, etc.
  • Assist marketing needs and services to generate leads and build pipeline for sales.
  • Analyze data and optimize marketing activities, refine processes to convert customers.
  • Generate bi-weekly reports to maintain a feedback loop with the internal team.
  • Capture market information to quickly understand and react to emerging trends, including market opportunities, changing competitive landscape, and new technologies.
  • Travel up to 30-40% depending on the offline events frequency.
  • Other projects or responsibilities may be required.
