About the Role:
The Marketing Prospects team is responsible for leading marketing efforts to attract new customers by utilising AGL’s brand, products, and capabilities. The team focus on customer-centric, innovative approaches that add value to AGL, while also considering regulatory requirements.
As the Marketing Specialist, your role is pivotal in developing effective marketing strategies and plans to enhance customer engagement with energy and telecommunications services. You’ll work to manage end-to-end campaigns to generate high-quality leads, continuously optimising based on performance data. You will collaborate with cross functional teams and external partners to achieve the required business outcomes.
This role requires someone who is skilled in building stakeholder relationships with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and the ability to drive outcomes that benefit both AGL and AGL’s customers.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop marketing strategies utilizing AGL’s brand, products, and capabilities to meet Customer Markets priorities.
  • Manage end-to-end campaigns, including creative and digital aspects, budgeting, approvals, reporting, and optimization, to achieve business targets and maximize ROI for new customers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Markets teams and external suppliers.
  • Drive innovation in communications to transform customer experiences with energy and telecommunications.
  • Personalize communications using data, insights, and capabilities, aligning offers, messages, and channels with customer needs.
  • Ensure all marketing activities consider the political environment and adhere to legal and regulatory frameworks.

About you:

  • Previous demonstrated experience in Integrated Marketing.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills
  • Previous acquisition experience in either B2C or B2B.
  • Strong understanding of communications development and campaign management.
  • Understanding and experience with digital analytics tools.
