Description:

The Marketing Associate will be responsible for new product development that can add value to our core customers and simultaneously provide better margins for the company, brand management and should be in-charge of the overall health and performance of the brand handled. To communicate and present project updates, issues, and resolutions in a concise, coherent, and organized manner and to create easily understood presentations, templates, information, and insights.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Business Administration major in Marketing or any related course.
  • 1-2 years in a Marketing role, with project management and cross-functional task force team management experience
  • With Project Management, Brand Management, Finance/P&L Budgeting and Forecasting Training is a plus

SKILLS & QUALITIES

  • Can comfortably speak and write in English and Tagalog
  • Well-versed in operating MS Office programs and external apps such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint/Canva and their Google Suite counterparts
  • Resourceful in research and trends online via web and/or social media
  • Leadership, drives and owns brand marketing projects confidently and knows when to ask questions as needed
  • Can work with colleagues to come up with creative solutions to problems; and
  • Challenges the status quo and comes up with ways how to always improve.

Responsibilities:

  • Drives the innovation funnel process under brand/s assigned from product conception to product launch
  • Does market and trade research (qualitative, quantitative, interviews, etc.) and resourcefully finds information online to continuously know the market
  • Works directly with the Plant/Production Team and other internal and external stakeholders for a smooth and timely launch
  • Strong and organized end-to-end project management to ensure that product launches are released in an organized and impactful manner
  • Has a keen understanding of profit and loss statements for planning new product launches.
  • Actively seeks out new trends and ideas by identifying value-adding strategies to our core consumers
  • Highly involved in the creation and solidification of the product innovation process and improve as necessary
  • Executes all brand-related activities including, but not limited to, branding and strategy, brand health monitoring, forecasting and budgeting, research, and promotions
  • Actively updated and be in-the-know on market and industry trends and insights, including competitor activities
  • In-charge of the customer journey and finds gaps and opportunities that we can address
  • Closely works with critical internal (sales, trade marketing, product team, purchasing, company directors) and external stakeholders (creative agencies, research agencies, suppliers, etc.) to ensure brand health and performance are on strat
  • Closely monitors and ensures that budget and profitability of products and brand are met
  • Delivers all marketing presentations and reports in a timely manner
  • Can creatively and resourcefully seek out solutions to issues encountered
  • Coordinates with Suppliers, other external stakeholders, and internal stakeholders (Sales, Trade Marketing, Production)
