JOB INTRODUCTION

Responsible for contributing to the growth of the business in the APAC Region by developing and administering campaigns and product management systems to promote our products, brands and services to existing and new markets and customers.

IDEALLY, THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING ATTRIBUTES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in the primary products sector including: agriculture or industrial markets we serve
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to network
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good organisation and planning skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Creativity, writing and design skills
  • IT skills, including social media, video editing
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, product design or communications (or similar) are desired
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar or related role

Responsibilities:

OUR ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity located at our Hamilton office in New Zealand for an experienced Marketing Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the Marketing Director- Asia Pacific, this position will see you responsible for contributing to the growth of Graymont in the Asia Pacific Region by developing and administering campaigns and product management systems to promote Graymont products, brands and services to existing and new target markets and customers.

KEY FOCUS AREAS FOR THE ROLE INCLUDE:

  • Conducting research and analysing data to identify customer groups and define opportunities
  • Compiling, distributing and presenting ideas, information and strategies
  • Coordinating promotional activities, events and customer interviews
  • Managing production and performance of multimedia content
  • Writing and proofreading creative copy
  • Maintaining micro-sites and tracking data analytics
  • Managing social media campaigns where required
  • Monitoring performance of marketing campaigns.
  • Helping to produce reports, company brochures and related marketing materials and literature
  • Liaising with internal and external teams to ensure that initiatives are completed and programmes are delivered on time
  • Developing and maintaining a Graymont Asia Pacific Product Catalogue.
