Description:
Our client is a leading, innovation-driven company that specialises in providing medical devices to save lives. With customers in more than 140 countries, the company offers a wide range of products for hospitals and emergency services.
They are now looking for a Marketing Specialist (m/f/d) to support marketing functions including marcom, digital and data-driven marketing, trade shows, implementation of campaigns and other events as well as KOL support and cross-segment alignment where required. They will work closely with other marketing specialists and marketing managers in this role.
Fluency in German is required for this position.The person should be willing to come to the headquarters in Cologne 2-3 days per month.

Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support trade fairs - in Germany and Austria - working with the marketing and sales teams to develop a strategy and implement this strategy for all major national trade fairs.
- Coordinate stand design, stand construction, working with contractors and consultants, stand coverage and logistics.
- Marketing support - events - working with and supporting the coordination of major events at national level and support at multinational level.
- Marketing communications support - working with the marketing teams at EU and global level to deliver projects and manage the timelines and work required for these projects.
- Taking the lead on initiatives within the EU Direct team and working with other segments to develop cross-segment projects .
- Exploring competitive markets, social media campaigns (LinkedIN, Facebook, Twitter), email outreach, organizing online seminars.Travel activity: approx. 25%. Mainly in Germany with occasional EMEA travel
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE ROLE, YOU MUST CLOSELY MATCH THE FOLLOWING JOB PROFILE:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing preferred.
- 3 years of marketing experience, including trade shows and research and understanding of ROI.
- Proven track record in project management.
- Digital marketing is a plus.
- Experience with Hubspot, SDFC and other relevant software tools a plus.
