Description:

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES OF POSITION:

The Marketing Specialist manages the execution of KH Roberts’s strategic branding and marketing plans alongside with the commercial team. This includes managing KH Roberts’s brand image, digital marketing communications and promotional campaigns. He/She leverages market research on brand awareness, market trends and target buyer and seller landscapes to enhance promotion of the organisation’s product and service offerings. In addition, he/she work closely with the commercial team to collaborate with the regional teams to gather latest market trends, competitive knowledge, and implement market plans and promotions. In addition, he/she oversees KH Roberts’s brand and communications, and product marketing functions.
He/she possesses strong technical product knowledge and cultural awareness of the customer demographics in the markets that KH Roberts operates in. He/she is analytical, creative, resourceful, and possesses strong communication and negotiation skills to work with cross-functional teams to meet overall organisation commercial objectives.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Possesses at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Technical background (Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry etc.) and/or has at least 3 years of relevant work experience in flavour or ingredients industry.
  • Preference for knowledge of the flavours or food ingredients industry.
  • Well-versed in the field of B2B and digital marketing.
  • Able to communicate effectively.
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently across the job scope.
  • Ability to conduct and work with cross-functional team and cross-cultural work environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. To develop and implement KH Roberts corporate and product branding strategies to drive overall brand awareness.
  • Conduct research parameters to identify and analyse market awareness, brand associations, brand positioning, communications and brand perception.
  • Execute overall brand and brand communication strategy aligned to corporate strategy
  • Implement brand guidelines to uphold brand positioning and perception
  • Manage and develop differentiated brand positioning for KH Roberts and products portfolio across different markets and segments
  • Manage and analyse effectiveness of brand plans and develop improvement plans
  • Assist to manage KH Roberts’s social media platforms and digital marketing channels to align with marketing strategies
  1. Assist to develop marketing strategy for KH Roberts and the regional markets company operates in:
  • Research and analyse industry landscape, market conditions, product competition, and latest marketing tools.
  • Initiate, develop and manage marketing strategy and plans according to analysis.
  • Facilitate execution of marketing plans with regional operations teams to achieve company goals.
  1. Accelerate growth of product portfolios in markets through
  • Developing product promotional plan, tools, promotional content and training content.
  • Conducting joint customer visits with sales teams, aligning customers, partners and cross-functional teams for successful execution of plans
  • Working together with Commercial Director to develop product pricing and positioning strategies
  • Lead and drive new product launches in markets together with other regional product management, technical and sales teams.
  1. Drive Business-Business Marketing:
  • Together with Commercial Director, understand and manage new and existing distribution marketing activities to align all distributors to group commercial strategies.
  1. Manage company brand communications initiatives
  • Develop and create promotional materials and content across the platforms.
  • Ensure successful distribution of communications materials and content at market levels
  • Analyse post implementation performance and recommend improvement plans
