Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our BID Marketing Operations team. The individual will be responsible for managing processes, technology, and data that support marketing activities. This role involves coordinating marketing automation systems, handling marketing databases, and analyzing marketing and sales data to drive operational efficiency and success of New Product Introductions.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably technical or Life Sciences, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in lieu of degree accepted

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience managing reporting in BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Domo)
  • Familiarity with marketing content platforms (Seismic, Sales Hub, HighSpot) as well as Learning management Platforms (Brainshark, Docebo)
  • Knowledge of various technologies to support marketing and communications functions, such as PPM PRO and project management software.
  • Experience with New Product Development (NPI) process

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of project management concept and processes
  • Understanding of New Product Introduction (NPI) process
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong strategic & critical thinking
  • Product Management approach, experience organizing tasks, creating plans, and meeting timelines
