Description:

We are seeking a Marketing Specialist with a deep understanding of game marketing and a proven track record in driving player acquisition and engagement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that will increase our player base and elevate our games’ presence in the market.
This role offers the flexibility of remote work and requires close collaboration with various teams within the company to create engaging video content. We need a proactive leader who can manage initiatives and also execute them effectively.

REQUIREMENTS

  • +5 Years of experience in Game Marketing: Demonstrated a minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing within the video game industry.
  • Understanding of KPIs: Proficient in setting and analyzing KPIs to gauge marketing performance and drive decision-making.
  • Reporting skills: The ability to interpret the KPI’s, results and findings of our campaigns into readable reports and key take-aways and present these reports and findings to the management team.
  • Creative Thinking: Ability to generate innovative ideas and execute them effectively.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret data and transform insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent Communication: Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team Player and Leader: Ability to work collaboratively with different departments, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and lead initiatives.
  • Passion for Gaming: A genuine passion for video games, including VR gaming, and an understanding of gaming culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Create comprehensive marketing plans that align with our business objectives and target audience.
  • Player Acquisition and Retention: Design and execute campaigns to attract new players and retain existing ones.
  • KPI Management: Set, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing efforts and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and player preferences.
  • Partnerships and Collaborations: Identify and engage with potential partners, influencers, and platforms to enhance our marketing reach.
  • Social Media Strategy: Build and manage our presence on platforms such as YouTube and TikTok to create an engaged audience. Understand gaming culture and even meme content.
  • VR Gaming Awareness: Stay updated on trends in VR gaming and understand how to generate traction for VR games on social media.
  • Leadership and Execution: Lead marketing initiatives while also being hands-on in executing them. Manage projects, guide team members, and ensure successful implementation of strategies.
