Marketing Summer Intern

Pearson K12 is recruiting for a Marketing Intern. This is a short-term, summer contract.
The Marketing Summer Intern is responsible for supporting Pearson Canada’s marketing efforts to the K-12 education market. Working collaboratively other members of the marketing team, the successful candidate is accountable for coordinating and participating in online and in-person events, tactical execution of social media strategies, analysing data from various platforms, among other duties.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently pursuing College Degree or Diploma in marketing or related field
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Familiar with various social media platforms
• Experience with Google Ads and X/Twitter platforms is a plus
• Experience with email marketing is a plus
• Experience with administrative duties is a plus
• Experience with organizing/managing events is a plus
• Experience with graphic design, UX/UI design is a plus

• Collaborate with and take direction from marketing team members on supporting the completion of various marketing projects and initiatives.
• Coordinate web development team on maintaining online marketing assets.
• Assist team members with administrative duties.
• Review, organize and analyze data
• Keep current on marketing best practices
