JOB SUMMARY:

The Marketing Supervisor leads the development, implementation, and profitable growth of new products and services, product enhancements, and strategic and tactical marketing programs and initiatives. He / She aligns marketing priorities and initiatives with Sales and Operations, collaborates with the Sales team, interacts with customers to develop product improvements and enhancements, and develops and enhances competitive solutions for customers. This position works with public relations, advertising, and trade show programs. He / She develops, implements, and leads marketing strategy and programs for specified products and services.
He/she will be based in UPS ID – Jakarta Center

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum Degree or higher – Marketing or Business Administration with at least two to three years relevant working experiences preferred.
  • Meticulous with strong attention to details, demonstrate good analytical skills, matured and logical thinking, dependable and requires minimum supervision.
  • Fast learner, proactive team player and ability to work positively in a challenging environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications
  • Excellence in oral and written communication, leadership, and people management skills

Responsibilities:

  • Analyses Country current and potential revenue and profit, industry concentration and economic growth to inform prioritization of opportunities by key cities / geos and industry segments.
  • Analyses competitors’ operations, network, strategies, products, services, technologies to determine UPS competitive position by key cities / geos.
  • Develops Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) analysis of key competitors to identify market advantages and disadvantages.
  • Provides insights of the competitive gaps to help stakeholders better understand the market advantages and disadvantages.
  • Analyses barriers for growth and develops strategic plans to enhance the value proposition.
  • Develops and implements Go-to-Market Strategy and conducts training to sales force to better understand the market opportunities, competitiveness, and UPS capabilities.
  • Analyses post analysis of initiatives to understand the effectiveness of Go-to-Market Strategy.
  • Analyses impactful competitive news and determines how they impact to UPS.
  • Launches new growth and product initiatives and provides training to sales force to facilitate selling.
  • Communicates with internal stakeholders and provides support to facilitate understanding of enterprise initiatives.
  • Supervises, conducts performance evaluations, and provides on-going feedback and support to improve individual performance, motivate and foster teamwork.
  • Determines employees’ training needs to produce continuous career development plans.
