Description:

  • BA/BS with 5-8 work experience required in business development; Negotiation and Selling skills.
  • 1-3 years of people management/mentoring experience
  • Skilled in phone-based negotiations, with objection-handling skills.
  • Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to persuade, convince and explain complex concepts in a simple manner.
  • Fluent in English (ideally Arabic).
  • Self-motivated, results driven, and autonomous taking responsibility for achieving your targets.
  • Numerical with the ability to apply intermediate skills.

Amazon, one of the world’s leaders in e-commerce is looking for an Account Manager (business-development professionals) to join its Third-Party Marketplace team based in Dubai, UAE.
    Working in a dynamic business development environment, your role will be focused on contributing to new business acquisition through lead generation, phone/email-based business evaluation and supporting the business launch of new sellers – as they make their wide range of products available to millions of Amazon customers. You also need to possess strong relationship-building skills and be able to explore win-win opportunities with partners – helping them grow their business on Amazon. In addition, you will be responsible for incorporating feedback from the sellers into new opportunities to improve Amazon’s products, services, processes, systems and tools for all 3rd party sellers working with cross-functional teams.
    To be successful in this role you must have superior negotiation, selling, communication, and presentation skills. Operating in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment, working autonomously and taking full control & responsibility for achieving business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prospect, and recruit high-potential selling partners via phone or email, with a focus on Fashion brands.
  • Effectively prioritize and lead a portfolio of selling partners to consistently meet/exceed the product family’s targets (both Inputs/Outputs metrics).
  • Be your seller partners’ consultant, providing them with data-driven insights and advice to optimize their success and grow their business at Amazon.ae.
  • Identify key business opportunities of your categories by spotting popular brands, trends, and pricing to ensure managing the portfolio toward a growth plan.
  • Work closely with selling partners, educating them about Amazon’s high standards of Delivery and Customer Experience.
  • Enable merchants to learn and master Amazon’s tools and systems so they may become self-sufficient in managing their catalog, inventory and performance efficiently and to the required standards.
  • Learn and understand the specificities of your categories to spot trends, seasonal items and competitive pricing to best tailor your pitch and advice to selling partners.
  • Track and report development results, analyze , interpret reports and information for your portfolio of selling partners.
  • Prioritize your time optimally to achieve your targets in a KPI-driven environment.
