CFJC-TV is looking for a part-time Master Control / TV Production employee. This entry level position is an excellent way to learn about different career opportunities in a television station while earning money.
This job will provide the winning candidate with evening and weekend shifts totalling 16 to 24 hours a week.
The successful applicant will be willing to learn, have a positive attitude and be able to work in an unsupervised capacity or in a team setting.
This is a challenging job requiring strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and excellent written and verbal communication. This job will provide the winning candidate with evening and weekend shifts totalling 16 to 24 hours a week along with Statutory Holidays. Knowledge of digital video editing would be an asset.

• Monitoring the delivery of three television signals.
• Quality control of video/audio, commercial insertions, closed captioning, and cable substitutions.
• Building and properly maintaining playlists for playback of commercials, programs, and other elements.
• Providing assistance with live and recorded productions as a camera operator, audio board operator, computer graphics operator, and other related tasks.
