ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Master Data Specialist to support the Merchandise- Food Pillar team and suppliers on various operational aspects crucial to our product ranging, pricing, and master data activities, ensuring the integrity of the Metcash Item Master Data is of the highest standard.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Category & Wholesales teams in management of all product master data tasks, including but not limited to, new product creation, supplier cost pricing, ranging, product amendments, pack and supplier changes
  • Timely processing of all Product data requests, ensuring SLA’s are met
  • Generate any required product master data reports for internal stakeholders and suppliers, including notifications of New Lines and Deletions
  • Partner with the relevant Category/Wholesale team members, to provide process/system support relating to product data
  • Knowledge of data requirements and willingness to ensure adherence to standards and compliance measures
  • Triage and resolve data syncing issues between NPC & Metproducts
  • Support queries/requests relating to product master data from Category/Wholesale team members, and suppliers
