BESCHREIBUNG

The Solar Energy Engineering MSc Program at the Technical Faculty is looking for a Master Student Assistant to support the implementation of an Erasmus+ project entitled ‘’nZEBRAIntensive blended course in Climate Neutral Buildings to address nZEB regulation and complex behavior of buildings’’. This comprehensive programme will cover various topics, including nZEB (nearly Zero Energy Buildings), climate change, energy, environmental and social governance strategies. Through our interdisciplinary approach, nZEBRA aims to equip both current and aspiring professionals with the skills needed to implement sustainable building solutions in alignment with global and EU standards.The expected tasks will include support in different tasks and activities regarding the working package and tasks leadership, development of new courses, deliverables preparation, attending the online/in-person meetings, organizing the workshops, and other internal support tasks. Preferably someone who is at the start of their studies and could stay for at least two years in theposition. The position is designed for 20 hours/month workload.
Responsibilities:• Supporting the leadership of various tasks related to nZEBRA project• Supporting the lecturers with creation and development of the course’s material• Development of courses syllabus and pedagogical and learning approaches• Supporting the outline development for the theoretical parts of related to nZEBRA project• Supporting the development of digital platform and tools• Developing course contents on ‘’energy production and supply in buildings’’• Content creation for the online presence in social media• Internal support with daily tasks• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:• Preferably Master students of Energy/ Building Energy Systems / Smart Buildings / Renewable Energy, Solar Energy, other fields of studies could also be considered like Engineering/ Sustainable Systems or similar.• Fluent English language with high professional writing. The program is offered in English and most of the work and communication is done in English. Any extra language is an advantage.• Very good computer skills.• Confident with using basic computer tools like: Microsoft office and email.• Confident with reporting and working with data in excel.• Self-disciplined, flexible with time management skills.
The following are highly desired but not mandatory:• Experience in European projects, e.g. Erasmus+• Experience in teaching and course content development.• Experience in e-learning management systems and digital platform• Experience in related Energy Simulation software e.g. EnergyPlus, PVstst, Matlab• Experience in working with course development tools e.g. Articulate 360 (RISE, Storyline,…), Camtasia or similar.• Previous experience as a student assistant in the university is advantageous.• Someone at the beginning of their study program or have at least two years left so they can stay longer with us.
