Description:

Our Operations & IT team in Düsseldorf is looking for YOU!

Responsibilities:

Uniper is a global energy company and active in more than 40 countries around the world with the largest presence in Germany, Sweden and Britan and a headquarter in Düsseldorf.
Uniper has roughly 22.5 GW of power generation capacity (roughly equal to the total capacity of the Netherlands) and will be carbon-neutral by 2035. In 2023 almost 7.000 employees are working for the energy transition (EBITDA ~ EUR 1.8 billion).

As Uniper´s Asset Management department at the headquarter has defined a central process on how to execute maintenance work on site - process is called PM/WCM (Plant Maintenance and Work Clearance Management) - we would like to offer you a process mining project on the maintenance process. Recorded data from SAP can be used to apply existing process mining techniques on checking process conformance and comparing plants with each other.

  • Details will be discussed and aligned with the Process Owner, the CoE Team and the candidate to a later point in time!

As Uniper´s uses Celonis Process Mining as standard application, the first task will be to compare the “should be”-process (documented in our process policy) with the current implementation (process conformance) and to review the calculation of the Process KPI´s.
Second, the processes will be compared to the normative model and one another
using process mining techniques, and stochastic process mining techniques.
Third, the differences will be discussed with process owners and other stakeholders from Uniper, to identify potential issues and potential improvements.
As Uniper´s Asset Management has identified variations in the process execution across the power station fleet, Uniper is interested in identifying the deviations between sites, on effective measures (Process KPI´s), activities and recommendations to improve conformance.
