As a Material and Inventory Manager you will be responsbile for managing the interface between the client strategic inventory manager and the client demand.

The Opportunity:

  • Establish Relationships and be the conduit between various divisions within the client organisation and the contractors to assist in meeting each party’s need
  • Be the lead contact for the client’s international commodities team who have overall management of the process and the associated inventory.
  • Work with the client to understand their existing processes and procedures and apply these to the new project location.
  • Monitor inventory levels, ensuring an adequate flow of materials for the organization
  • Establish and agree the guidelines associated with the pre order of materials and inventory turnover.
  • Attend key meetings to monitor progress.
  • Record-Keeping / Reporting / Dashboards: Maintain detailed records on materials received, usage, availability etc.
  • Optimizing Inventory Control Procedures: Devising ways to improve inventory management processes.
  • Demand Monitoring: Using software to monitor demand and document inventory characteristics.
  • Reporting: Providing stock level reports to upper management.
  • Work with the Construction Manager and facilitate problem solving.

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Are an experienced Material and Inventory Manager in the High tech industrial sector or other sectors utilising high level of Process, Mechanical and Electrical materials
  • Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management systems
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
  • Analytical mindset with strong math skills
  • Have a degree or comparable experience in a procurement or inventory management related discipline
  • Excellent organizational, planning, communication, and interpersonal abilities Are an excellent communicator verbally and in writing
  • Are enthusiastic about being part of a global team, and able to flex your hours to engage across regions and time zones
  • Thrive on building strong relationships with your team and clients through a shared purpose and sense of openness and fun
