Job Description

As our new Distribution Officer & Material Controller Manager you will take the lead in optimizing critical packaging, distribution, and waste management processes for our cutting-edge AI manufacturing operations. Utilizing your expertise, you’ll ensure compliance is in place, provide technical guidance, and collaborate and communicate across teams to keep our supply chain running seamlessly.

  • Oversee a team of skilled Material Controllers, ensuring adherence to stringent HSE and GMC site procedures.
  • Support the activities required for compliant packaged waste disposal and logistics operations, including ADR, IATA, and hazardous materials regulations.
  • Leverage your expertise in SAP, problem-solving, and process optimization to streamline workflows and enhance business interfaces.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve challenges, drive continuous improvement, and deliver top-notch service to stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Strong manufacturing/supply chain background.
  • A good working knowledge of SAP.
  • Good knowledge of process-interfaces with purchasing, plants, asset planners and suppliers.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
  • Keen eye for identifying opportunities.
  • Relevant qualifications like DGSA, IATA, and Known Consignor Security are highly desirable.
