We are looking for a Material Expert (m/f/d) for our design core group who provides expert knowledge about metals & alloys (mostly aluminum, steel and titanium), polymers and the latest state-of-the-art refining technologies to our engineers. Beneficial would be also expert knowledge in the area of new additive manufacturing materials and possibilities. This person advice our designers in the selection of the optimum material to produce high-end motorsport components.

Responsibilities:
- be the highest capacity in knowledge about high-end materials and refining technologies for metals in our organization
- ensure that you be up-to-date with the newest metals, alloys and polymer materials, regularly visits of symposium and conferences to stay informed are part of the job
- guide our design engineers when it comes to the optimal selection for materials they use to produce motorsport components
- be able to challenge suppliers who are offering alloys or refining technologies
- support our Quality Assurance group to optimize their test procedures to ensure that materials meet the defined requirements
