GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Shipping and receiving materials and products within the Tech Center department and assisting the Shop Floor Supervisor in maintaining general duties and special projects on the floor. Working independently with all Tech Center employees to order, receive, maintain, and ship all necessary materials and supplies. Picks up and delivers cars when needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Orders, maintains, receives, and ships all necessary materials and supplies needed
  • Orders, maintains, receives, and ships all weld fixtures and tooling needed at Tech Center
  • Accurately paints and checks all weld fixtures leaving Tech Center for accuracy and quality standards
  • Delivers and picks up vehicles as needed for the prototyping process
  • Measuring and documenting all work and design process in IFS
  • Use forklift to pull, put away, and transfer material between departments/locations
  • Reports, organizes and maintains inventory
  • Communicate within and outside Tech Center department professionally and efficiently

    Requirements:

  • High School diploma, GED or Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing company

  • Knowledge and use of measuring tools I.E. calipers, tape measure, protractor.
  • Sit down and stand-up forklift experience
  • Ability to read and understand drawings and other manufacturing documents to make sure weld fixtures are correct
  • Ability to shift from projects and keep on track with daily tasks
  • Able to multitask and work at a consistent pace to complete multiple project(s) within designated time frame
  • Attention to detail and ability to produce product within company standards
  • Ability to work in a team setting and communicate efficiently
  • Proficient Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and IFS

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to sit and stand intermittently, use a keyboard, climb stairs occasionally, and lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodations.
    These duties may be expanded, deleted or changed at any time per management’s discretion.
