POSITION OVERVIEW:

Nibav Lifts Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. The Material Handler will be responsible for managing the flow of materials within the warehouse, ensuring that inventory is accurately tracked and efficiently distributed to support production and order fulfillment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials and inventory.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification is a plus).
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management and documentation.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Material Handling: Safely and efficiently move materials and products within the warehouse and production areas.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate counts and proper storage.
  • Receiving: Unload and inspect incoming shipments, verify quantities, and update inventory records.
  • Stocking: Organize and stock materials in designated storage areas, maintaining order and cleanliness.
  • Order Fulfillment: Assist with picking and preparing materials for production and customer orders.
  • Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork and data entry for inventory tracking and material movements.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the warehouse and production teams to meet operational goals and deadlines.
