Foth Production Solutions works closely with consumer product companies to solve their toughest technical challenges. We partner with clients to help streamline their capital spending and business decision process, enable operational efficiencies, and launch new products. We provide clients with a flexible offering of project engagement that ranges across consulting, engineering, design-build, and/or mixed execution through project start-up.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, or a combination of education and relevant technical training/experience.
- 10+ years of experience in software or systems design/implementation within supply chain or engineering environments, including systems integration.
- Strong foundation in industrial automation principles, including PLC programming, SCADA systems, and software integration methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects across all stages of development, with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required for project and client needs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in a related field and/or professional certifications (CPIM, CSCP, PMP).
- Consulting experience with a focus on supply chain management, warehouse design, and operations improvement.
- Advanced skills in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management software.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in diverse, cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical aspects of warehouse automation projects from conceptualization through implementation, ensuring alignment with client objectives and project timelines.
- Serve as a customer advocate, guiding them through the automation journey and selecting the best-fit technologies for their needs.
- Conduct in-depth analyses of existing processes, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to design, estimate, and implement material handling and automation solutions.
- Oversee the integration and testing of automation equipment, ensuring seamless operation within client facilities.
- Maintain active communication with all project stakeholders, from engineers and operations teams to IT, fostering collaborative success.
- Travel to Foth offices and/or client sites 35% annually, up to 50% at peak times.
