Headquartered in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, and with a site in Mirabel, Quebec, we operate in more than 150,000 sq feet of facilities dedicated to operations, manufacturing and administration.
The Material Review Board (MRB) Engineer assesses non-conforming materials, parts, or products and determines the appropriate disposition within the defined parameters of the MRB process. This involves analyzing the nature and extent of non-conformance, evaluating potential rework or repair options, and making recommendations for disposition, which may include rework, concession/repair, or scrap.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate non-conformance arising from production and supply to formulate a disposition within the defined MRB limits.
  • Review customer requirements to identify rework options.
  • Analyze customer requirements and historical results to identify repair options.
  • Provide recommendation for disposition (rework, concession/repair, scrap).
  • Liaise with Production, Programs, Engineering, Supply Chain, customers, vendors, and subcontractor representatives to ensure timely completion of actions to address non-conformance issues.
  • Ensure that performance and quality of products conform to established company, customer, and regulatory standards.
  • Support Continuous Improvement activities with data analysis, RCCA, etc. to enhance processes and procedures.
  • Perform administrative duties as assigned.
