REQUIRED SKILLS/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

  • 5 years recent C4I or other relevant experience.
  • 3 years tracking and auditing inventories.
  • Extensive working experience with Microsoft Office Suite, advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Able to work professionally with all personalities, in all environments, regardless of position.

PREFERRED SKILLS

Quality Management System (QMS) experience that is compatible with ISO 9001:2008.

Responsibilities:

Plans, organizes, directs, and controls the flow of materials within Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific’s C4I Restoration Depot. Coordinates with purchasing staff and production shops to obtain and maintain materials to use in production processes to complete the repair, overhaul, restoration, and manufacturing of Depot C4I workload in support of the US Navy Fleet. Support efforts to fully implement an Operating Material and Supplies (OM&S) capability within the Restoration Depot. OM&S is comprised of material such as replacement parts, components, assemblies, and residual assets that are to be consumed in normal operations. Ensure all Depot OM&S will be procured, inventoried, managed, and reported in the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System. Properly store material, streamline the process for storing and issuing material, improve customer service, and sustain accountability and auditability. Minimize material on-hand while also maximizing redistribution of on-hand material to fill Fleet end-use requirements or otherwise dispose of items to reduce storage costs as required. Use Item Unique Identification (IUID) as required. Support efforts to implement a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) system to better track parts inventory. Properly provide for the uniform care of supplies in storage and ensure material is properly packaged. Provide prompt reporting of property which has been lost, damaged, or destroyed. Ensure that management of OM&S is meeting Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) requirements by providing centralized receiving, accurate inventory, and long-term storage.
