The Building People, LLC, has a position open for Maximo Lead Developer.

Implement an industry-standard Agile development methodology such as those promoted by the Agile Alliance, the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) or the Project Management Institute (PMI) to deliver software products and services that focus on maximizing business value quickly and in small-scaled increments allowing DOS to be proactive to Business change within the environment.

  • Practices are to be applied with SCRUM, KANBAN, Lean, and XP where appropriate to maximize the value delivered.
  • All standard activities related to Quality Assurance and management reporting shall be performed within the Agile context.
  • Propose appropriate tools and processes to manage a portfolio of products utilizing Agile methodologies and encourage innovation and emerging technologies, as well as high product quality.
  • Integration /Application Development, Requirements/Analysis, and Best Practice Guidance. Within these areas, Integration /Application Development Consolidation/streamlining of existing architecture to ensure ongoing compatibility with system upgrades and evolving business needs
  • Maintaining current and future Maximo implementations; triaging and resolving production issues related to Maximo and integrated systems
  • Development and execution of software test plans (unit, backend, integration testing) and coordination of user acceptance testing
  • Reviewing, testing, and deployment of Maximo management systems security enhancement patches
  • Leading release migration, performance testing and tuning, upgrade and patch installation testing
  • Providing production support to analyze day-to-day issues and respond quickly to resolve problems, minimizing business impact.
  • Our positions may require a background screening and clearance directly from the Government.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to meet Federal & DoD Gov’t security background checks, HSPD-12, Fingerprinting, plus agency-specific screening.
  • 2+ years successfully working from home or remote location, with minimal supervision.
  • Operate within a NIST 800-171 compliant security environment internally and able to support all client-required cyber security data and operational processes. Value and protect company, colleague, and customer data.
  • Operate within a home office environment that provides adequate workspace and high-speed internet connectivity.
