Job Description
The Manufacturing Engineer position play important role in manufacturing X-Ray equipment on product assembly, testing, packing. His is responsible to implement all the requirements and instruction from design team in UK & Germany.
Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities -

  • Translate and write WIs, procedures for assembly, test, and rework instructions
  • Training the operator assemble, test, and rework the products.
  • Follow the processes, policies and procedures, accurately complete the manufacturing and the documentations as required.
  • Support and participate lean manufacturing initiatives such as Lean Six Sigma project, Kaizen event,5S etc.
  • Comply with company health, safety and environmental policies.
  • Comply with all applicable corporate and regulatory export control and security regulations.
  • Plan & implement the preventive maintenance for machine & tester.
  • Support team for failure analysis activities.

The Individual

Skills and Experience -

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, electrical or mechanical.
  • Experience: With 1-2 years experience in Manufacturing engineering.
  • Knowledge and Skills:
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity and experience working with small hard tools and electrical test equipment
  • English verbal and writer communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles including Kanban, Cycle counting, 5S, etc
  • SAP, Microsoft Project Plan, AutoCAD, Visio, Microsoft Office.
  • Project management & critical problem solving.
  • Experience in industrial engineering will be added advantage.
