Our Heavy Vehicle Mechanics have the opportunity to work on Volvo Trucks, Volvo Buses, Mack and UD Trucks, some of Australia’s most innovative transport brands. We are seeking highly skilled and qualified mechanics to work on our trucks full time, or on our buses full time.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

At Volvo Group Australia you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. As Mechanic or Trades Assistant, your role will include:

• Fitting components and parts
• Running wires and cables
• Light mechanical adjustments
• Parameter programming
• Electrical component integrations

• Light or heavy mechanical qualification with experience in a commercial environment (for Mechanic roles only)
• Experience as a mechanical Trades Assistant in commercial environment (TA roles only)
• Experience working on trucks and / or buses
• Some exposure to light auto-electrical work
• A pro-active attitude with a drive to work efficiently
• A positive safety attitude with a team-focused mindse
