As a ZeroAvia Production Technician - Assembly, you will join the Kemble Production team and assemble parts for ground and flight-based projects in support of our hydrogen-electric engine programs for zero-emissions flight.
The role will involve the assembly of cutting-edge technology from early-stage prototypes through to certifiable products and any support products and equipment required for research and development activities. You will also provide general support throughout the production workshops and utilise your expertise to support other specialist areas of the business.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Mechanically assemble and test aerospace parts using hand and precision tooling, and equipment.
  • Interpret technical drawings and documents to assemble and test parts with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Maintain comprehensive assembly records and documentation in accordance with company procedures.
  • Proactively collaborate with design & manufacturing teams to solve assembly challenges, improve processes, and participate in error proofing activities.
  • Assist in Machine Workshop and general manufacturing activities.
  • Collaborate with the Production Manager/Lead & engineering teams to meet project goals and deadlines.
  • Treat safety risk management as a priority to maintain a safe, healthy, and clean working environment.
  • Strictly adhere to all company processes and procedures.
  • Any other tasks as detailed by the Production Manager/Lead
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Assembly Technician in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Previous experience in the mechanical assembly of components that are supplied into advanced manufacturing sectors such as Aerospace, Medical, MOD or Motorsport.
  • Experienced in the assembly of a wide range of mechanical products using a variety of tools, equipment and high-accuracy measuring equipment.
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with various tools, equipment and measuring devices.
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings and documentation.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing precise and high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Flexible approach to work and a high level of drive and ambition to help achieve the organisations goals.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
