MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER - 6 MONTH CONTRACT

This client is a very well established business with a huge presence in the NSW water infrastructure space, now seeking a mechanical engineer for a 6 month contract work on one of Sydney’s most exciting water projects.

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience as a Design Engineer managing projects from concept to delivery
• Experience in treatment plants and chemical dosing.
• Must be comfortable working to tight deadlines
• Technically sound with ha good grasp of AutoCAD and associated software
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and development.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software - ideally with Onshape, but experience with Solidworks, Inventor and similar are all transferable
• Must be hands on and have a positive attitude.

The role

• Manage designs from concept to delivery
• Working on water treatment mechanical design
• Some on-site work to assist constructions teams where needed
• Working with the senior managers to mitigate risks
