BASE QUALIFICATIONS

• An academic background in Mechanical Engineering - preferably a master’s degree
• 3+ years of experience designing parts and assemblies for complex machinery using parametric CAD – preferably SolidWorks
• Solid experience creating technical drawings for serial production
• Familiarity with relevant norms, experience working with technical specifications, and regulations– execution of risk analysis and FMEA is a plus
• Project/Design portfolio including prototyping, testing and design validation
• Experience in designing for a variety of manufacturing processes (i.e., sheet metal, welding, 3D printing, injection molding, casting) – sheet metal experience is a strong plus
• Great documentation and communication skills in English - fluent German is a plus

As a Mechanical Design Engineer (f/m/d) you will play a key role in the composition of our Robotic Kitchen. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimising mechanical components and systems for our cutting edge technology while working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, software developers, culinary experts, to bring innovative kitchen tech to life.
