Description:
Responsibilities:
- Manage your allocated Design duties in line with the Production Schedule.
- Generate part drawings, programme, and set up on the appropriate ordering and programming systems, i.e., PN, EHRT, IFS.
- Liaise with the sheet metal and copper ordering teams to allow the team to complete the necessary BOMs in line with the schedule.
- Provide Technical support to the Switchgear and Powerbar Project Managers regarding Bespoke Busbar and switchboard Design queries.
- Provide Technical support to Team Leader/Lead Operators regarding production queries, attending the workshop floor where necessary.
- Provide Technical support to Sheet Metal and Copper Production teams regarding part queries.
- Provide Technical support to the site-based teams regarding site measures and part demands.
- Generate clear and technical assembly drawings to be used by the MAS, SUB, FA and Tap-offs assembly Teams.
- Attend regular Metalwork meetings where necessary to provide technical advice on the practicalities of upcoming Designs.
