Description:
- Familiar with design automation, eg conveyor, palletiser
- Design using computer-aided design and drafting software (CAD, Solidworks)
- Take ownership of designs and drawings for projects assigned.
- Provide detailed designs from rough sketches and specifications
- Specify dimensions, materials and user manual for new products
- Prepare different versions of designs for review by management
- Prepare drawings for sheet metal components
- Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements
- Plan and coordinate own work as well as produce schedules for assigned tasks
- Collaborate with all project related personnel on site on day-to-day progress of work activities, procurement and operations to ensure timely completion of project
- Compile data and specifications sheets
- Accurately document and update information in written or electronic form
