SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must be Australian Citizens eligible to obtain and maintain AGSVA security clearance at the required level.
International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your citizenship (including dual citizenship) may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.

Responsibilities:
As a Mechanical Designer, you will contribute towards the development of bespoke assemblies, equipment layouts, schematics and other models/drawings.
You will primarily be responsible for:
- Working with the Engineering Manager(s) and Product Leaders to evolve the physical integration design
- Providing input into the evaluation of the maturity of product data provided by suppliers into the integrated data management system
- Participating in technical reviews of the Physical Integration Design products and deliverables
- Contributing to the transition of design data through to production design data (Stage 3)
- Contributing to the resolution of build problems
- Contributing to the development and delivery of the:
- Physical Interface Definition Documentation
- Layouts and sketches
- System Schematic Drawings
- Cable Schedules
- Engineering Drawings to support the program in accordance with the contracted CDRL format
