JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is a Japanese manufacturing company. They are looking for an electrical/mechanical technician to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems to minimize downtime and ensure the reliability of equipment and systems.

【 What you will be doing 】

• Support department Team Leaders, engineers and managers by ensuring all equipment are in ready-to-use conditions
• Repair work for plant equipment
• Daily hands-on troubling shoot, routine daily maintenance
• Attend all maintenance job requests
• Respond to urgent breakdown
• Conduct root cause analysis for equipment breakdown
• Support teammates in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Conduct MME validation and calibration
• Carry out dismantling, installation replacement works for faulty equipment or service equipment
• Perform stock takes and inventory updates
• Update of daily maintenance report when the Team Leader is absent
• Update routing preventive maintenance report
• Support engineer to supervise external contractor in servicing or maintenance work
• Participate in all health and safety initiatives and ensure all measures are adhered to
• Conduct and adhere to the 5S routine daily.
• Involved in Work Improvement Suggestions, Safety near-miss, corrective & improvement works
• Conduct daily site inspections to spot anomalies

REQUIREMENT

【 What they are looking for 】

(Must)

• Minimum NITEC in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience
• Willing to be on standby call when necessary

(Preferable)

• Candidates who can commence work on short notice
• Ability to communicate in basic and simple English
• Basic MS Office knowledge

• Good health status for hands-on and manual work
