Mechanical Engineer / Appliance Specialist

INTRODUCTION:

We are seeking a hard working individual with a Mechanical Engineer background to join our team and train as an appliance technician . The specialist will be responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance, as well as troubleshooting and repairing equipment and systems on residential appliances. The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and be able to work independently. We are committed to service and growth while allowing advancement based on merit and ability. QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with, HAVAC / Electrical / or Mechanical engineering or in a similar role
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, and inspecting systems for proper operation, and repairs on equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems as needed
• Respond to in shop service repairs and maintenanceMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
• Other duties as assigned
