Our client is a reputable Building Services Consultancy based in Sydney, specializing in innovative and sustainable engineering solutions. They are currently seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer with Data Centre experience to join their dynamic team.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical building services design with a focus on Data Centre projects.
- Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Membership with a relevant professional body (e.g., Engineers Australia) is desirable.

Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW:
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering mechanical building services solutions for Data Centre projects. Working closely with a team of experienced engineers, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects from concept design through to completion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and deliver mechanical building services solutions for Data Centre projects.
- Conduct detailed design calculations and simulations.
- Prepare technical specifications and drawings.
- Collaborate with architects, clients, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality designs.
- Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
