Description:
If you are an Engineering Student looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! This role is an exciting opportunity to support the Pressure Management business based in our Stafford, Texas location, where you will work closely with a small team of engineers focused on the development of new pressure relief valves, components, and or accessories.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:
- Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience or coursework related to manufacturing processes
Responsibilities:
IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
- Assist the New Product Development (NPD) team in the design and development of new product concepts.
- Work in a team environment applying your knowledge of engineering principles and the physical sciences to develop new products and provide solutions to defined problems.
- Assist in the design, assembly, and testing of pressure relief valves, components, and accessories.
- Compile, review, and interpret test and operational results and research data to establish performance standards for newly designed or modified products, processes, or materials.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:
- Junior-level status, or above, currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Dedication to full-time (40 hours) Fall Co-Op experience in Stafford, TX from July 2024 through December 2024
- No housing will be provided to candidates who are not local to Stafford, TX
- Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role
