Mechanical Engineer - Co-Op (Fall 2024)

This role is an exciting opportunity to support the Pressure Management business based in our Stafford, Texas location, where you will work closely with a small team of engineers focused on the development of new pressure relief valves, components, and or accessories.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

• Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Experience or coursework related to manufacturing processes

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

• Assist the New Product Development (NPD) team in the design and development of new product concepts.
• Work in a team environment applying your knowledge of engineering principles and the physical sciences to develop new products and provide solutions to defined problems.
• Assist in the design, assembly, and testing of pressure relief valves, components, and accessories.
• Compile, review, and interpret test and operational results and research data to establish performance standards for newly designed or modified products, processes, or materials.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

• Junior-level status, or above, currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Dedication to full-time (40 hours) Fall Co-Op experience in Stafford, TX from July 2024 through December 2024
• No housing will be provided to candidates who are not local to Stafford, TX
