Mechanical Engineer Co-op (Summer/Fall 2024)

The Engineering Intern/Co-Op will support the Engineering Department by working on engineering projects involving components for nuclear power plants and the U.S. Navy, under the supervision of the Engineering Manager. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

• Two years of undergraduate study with a focus on Mechanical Engineering
• Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Suite
• CAD (SolidWorks, Inventory, AutoCAD, etc.) background desirable.

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

• Assist in preparation of design analysis of components for nuclear power plants and the U.S. Navy
• Assist in preparation of equipment qualification test procedures.
• Assist in the design of equipment qualification testing.
• Support the assembly and testing of a variety of pressure relief devices.
• US Citizenship required due to US Navy contractual requirements.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
• Legal Authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this role
