Dematic is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our Global Project Engineering team. The Mechanical Engineering team performs engineering assignments with clear and specified objectives while on multi-discipline project teams. The ideal candidate will be passionate about engineering projects through to completion, building relationships with customers, and undertaking opportunity in a growing industry and team.

THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE:

• Complete the design of complex systems that integrate hardware and software
• Complete complex material specification, layout/drawing preparation, and appropriate follow-up
• Complete recommendations for ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction and improvement in customer satisfaction
• Perform complex technical interchange and knowledge transfer for both processes and application of products to system design
• Identify and resolve more complex problems and applies problem-solving skills in order to deal with most situations
• Project Engineering and Commissioning at customer sites
• Communicate, train, and work with customer for final system designTravels up to 25% to different customer locations/Dematic locations
