Mechanical Engineer (Electronics Parts Manufacturer)

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years experience in mechanical /electronics/manufacturing industry
• Experience in plastic parts and metal stamping parts development will be an advantage.
• Ability to use measurement instruments ( Vernier caliper, Micrometer, Smart scope, Height Gauge and etc. )
• Experience in Design for Assembly (DFA) for NPI product .
• Experience in Mechanical Part Approval procedure . ( Review FA report )
• Experience in 2D or 3D cad software - SOLIDWORKS
• Experience in MS office software - EXCEL and POWER POINT .
• Required to travel to Batam island frequently
• Able to work in team environment and interface with all levels of organization

• Prepare and review Design for Assembly (DFA) of new project.
• Prepare and review Jigs and fixtures design of new project with production members .
• Co-ordinate and issue official drawing/data (new mechanical parts) to our vendor for making First Article (FA)

data and samples submission for approval.

• Responsible to follow up new mechanical part/modification approval status from drawing issued until fully

approved.

• Support production line during trial run stage .
• Co-ordinate with Quality Department in resolving quality issues
• Other relevant duties.
