The estimated base salary range for this role is “$80,000 to $108,000” per year.

Responsibilities:
- Providing mechanical engineering and technical assistance to the manufacturing plant in terms of equipment, maintenance, and production processes and systems
- Managing the plant capital budget
- Participating in identifying and resolving common cause and special cause mechanical issues that impact plant reliability and performance
- Investigating manufacturing problems in the plant and recommending corrective actions
- Developing preliminary concepts and budgetary capital estimates for new products, projects, and improvements
- Assisting in and/or developing vendor bid packages and final vendor selection for purchased parts and services
- Executing capital projects, ensuring cost, schedule, and performance goals are met or exceeded
- Applying Precision Maintenance concepts and principals
- Educating plant personnel on mechanical engineering and technical issues to ensure their knowledge and understanding
- Coordinating training and start-up activities of new equipment and processes
- Participating in Lean efforts, such as kaizen events, where an emphasis is placed on creativity before capital investment
- Providing status updates on project progress and issues
