Description:
We are hiring Building Services professionals to join our team on the construction of a new large-scale Med-tech manufacturing facility in Galway.
The Mechanical Engineer position plays a crucial role in the management and implementation of Building Services.
As a Mechanical Engineer you will play a pivotal role within our project delivery team.
Working closely with project managers and subcontractors, you will oversee all electrical activities, manage resources efficiently, and uphold our uncompromising standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and oversight of mechanical systems in a life science construction project.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems meet the stringent requirements of life science facilities
- Ensure works are carried out to a high standard, maintain quality control and adherence to JPC safety protocols.
Specific Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering third level qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on life science or healthcare construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing systems.
- Previous Main Contractor experience is preferred
- Excellent IT skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
- Strong client focus
