Babcock is looking for a Design Engineer L3 with a Mechanical Engineering background to join the design team based in Devonport, Auckland.
ABOUT YOU
You are an experienced Design Engineer with a strong background in marine engineering and a knack for leading complex projects. Your attention to detail, proficiency in CAD software, and excellent communication skills enable you to produce high-quality technical documentation and effectively manage project timelines. You thrive in a collaborative environment, supporting your team and proactively seeking opportunities for growth and development. Your commitment to health, safety, and environmental compliance ensures a safe and efficient workplace for all.
KEY REQUIRED SKILLS
- Relevant Engineering Degree is essential
- Proven ability to lead and deliver complex projects..
- Proficiency in CAD software, including 2D/3D modelling (Autodesk products desirable).
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
- Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Comprehensive communication skills, both written and oral.
