Description:

Your tasks:
- 2D Technical drawing and drafting
- 3D Modeling - part design / surface design / assembly design
- Assembly design and mechatronics integration
- Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and design of mechanical attachements (e.g. screwing, snap/clip)
- Interface definition and alignment (e.g. display module, camera or ECU) in mechanical package
- Package Definition - structure / attachment / visible components
- ESD / EMC - Shielding Technique based on requirements
Your profile:
- Degree in mechanical engineering or comparable qualification
- Experience in electrical engineering and manufacturing processes
- Knowledge about automotive customer and internal standards as well as about glue used in Automotive & Gluing Techniques, Tooling (plastic/die cast/deep draw)
- Understanding of Injection moulding process and thermal management as well as tolerance calculation for assembly & subassembly parts
- Understanding of result from FEM / Mold flow and taking contra measures in design
- Fluent in English, German is a plus
