KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field (such as Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical engineering or Mechatronics or equivalent experience)
• 5 years of progressive experience in the field of Manufacturing, and/or Quality, Supply Chain and/or Business.
• Proven general capabilities in procurement practices, supplier development and/or customer support.
• Proven specific capabilities in understanding and communicating the technical aspects of the goods and services procured.
• Australian Citizenship desirable.

ABOUT THE ROLES

Our client is looking for two skilled engineers, one in Mechanical Engineering and one in Electrical Engineering to join their dynamic production team. As part of this team, you will work closely with the General Manager and contribute to a range of innovative projects.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with suppliers and build strong relationships that align with our business needs. As a key player in supplier risk management, you will be responsible for ensuring that quality and engineering requirements are met, while also driving supplier development and performance enhancements. By collaborating with suppliers to boost their performance, you will play a pivotal role in our client’s overall success.
You will also be involved in supporting estimating for proposal activities and taking the lead on design-to-cost (DTC) saving projects, contributing to our continuous improvement efforts.
