Description:

Job Description

  • To interface with clients providing technical advice on all aspects of power plant development including configuration options, prime equipment selection, BoP systems & components, enabling infrastructure and considerations for project implementation.
  • To support clients technically through project feasibility, project appraisals, procurement evaluations, contractor/vendor engineering, project construction, commissioning and performance testing.
  • To support proposal development, drawing on WSP’s regional and international network of support experts where needed
  • Manage project technical delivery requirements

Experience required for the Role

  • University Degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline
  • Knowledgeable of gas turbines, CC & CHP power plants and/or waste-to-energy plants, the key technologies & components and project lifecycle considerations
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a mechanical engineer in the power sector, ideally developed within a professional services/consulting environment
  • Experience with project management and project planning software tools
  • Experience working with public and private sector clients in the Asia region
  • Knowledge on hydrogen fuel generation and applications would be advantageous
