Description:
Job Description
- To interface with clients providing technical advice on all aspects of power plant development including configuration options, prime equipment selection, BoP systems & components, enabling infrastructure and considerations for project implementation.
- To support clients technically through project feasibility, project appraisals, procurement evaluations, contractor/vendor engineering, project construction, commissioning and performance testing.
- To support proposal development, drawing on WSP’s regional and international network of support experts where needed
- Manage project technical delivery requirements
Experience required for the Role
- University Degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline
- Knowledgeable of gas turbines, CC & CHP power plants and/or waste-to-energy plants, the key technologies & components and project lifecycle considerations
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a mechanical engineer in the power sector, ideally developed within a professional services/consulting environment
- Experience with project management and project planning software tools
- Experience working with public and private sector clients in the Asia region
- Knowledge on hydrogen fuel generation and applications would be advantageous
