Description:
Our client is a multidisciplinary engineering consulting company who is looking for a senior mechanical engineer to join their team in Vancouver. Due to the growth in their workload, our client is currently searching for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
- Registered as a P.Eng with EGBC
- 7+ years experience as a Mechanical or Project Engineer on Mining/ Heavy Industrial Project
Responsibilities:
- Conduct site investigations for mineral processing plant design projects;
- Assist and manage the preparation parameters for plant design;
- Provide coordination with various departments and disciplines as required for project implementation, design, and inspection;
- Project manage design studies, due diligence reviews;
- Perform engineering calculations;
- Provide cost estimating review and assistance;
- Write and review technical reports and construction specifications
- Responsible for performing all aspects of engineering, design, and project management.
- Develop proposals and project scopes in collaboration with management, sales, project delivery, engineering and discipline representatives.
