We are now looking for a Mechanical Engineer, Liquid Cooling to join our team in Kent, United Kingdom.
Job Overview: You will be responsible for the system level architecture, design, analysis, and validation of world class liquid cooling CDUs to meet customer needs. You will work closely with electrical, controls, and thermal engineers as necessary to design and prepare new products. This role will use design processes based on estimating, simulating, and testing the thermal performance of new products and system architectures.

Responsibilities:

YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Mechanical drawings, perform system level thermal, fluid and cost analysis using simulation and other engineering tools to develop product as specified.
  • Component selection, BoM creation and product definition and documentation.
  • Direct test program to develop and/or validate system safety, performance, controls, compliance, and quality.
  • Interact with cross function team members to align on system requirements, project tasks and schedule adherence.
  • Coordinate and plan day-to-day technical activities and report on the status on projects.

IN ORDER TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE:

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field, or equivalent required; MS in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of thermal/mechanical design experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in mechanical design for critical infrastructure systems.
  • Demonstrated success in leading product development teams (perhaps located in different regions) to accomplish project implementations on time, on budget, and with high quality.
  • Solid knowledge and experience with thermal management hardware and heat transfer materials/fluids
  • Experience with liquid cooling systems strongly preferred.
  • Experience with 1-Phase and 2-Phase heat transfer fluids preferred.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
