About the Role
Due to the continued growth of the business and a busy year ahead, we are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our team for upcoming projects within the Oil & Gas industry. This is a local role based in Melbourne, Victoria.

Duties will include but not limited to

• Flange Management - Hi-Torque and Tensioning.
• Heat Exchanger maintenance services.
• Internal confined space fitting works, including tray removal and install.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and P&ID’s.
• Dealing with hazardous materials.
• Assisting other disciplines with alternative scope outside of mechanical works
• Ability to work within a team environment while capable of working unsupervised.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent Communication skills.
• Strong commitment to Work Health and Safety including participating in safety documentation requirements.

Requirements & Experience Needed

• 1-2 years’ experience working within the Mining, Resources & Energy sector.
• Ability to work shift work (Day/Night/Weekends).
• Possess formal Trade Qualifications as a Mechanical Fitter & Turner or an equivalent recognized Mechanical trade certificate.
• Flange Management Training (advantageous).
• Working at Heights certificate (within 2 years - essential).
• Confined Space Entry certificate (within 2 years - essential).
• Gas Test Atmosphere (within 2 years – essential)
• Breathing Apparatus certificate (desirable).
• Current Driver’s License (highly desirable).
• High Risk Work License - LF/Dogman/Rigger (advantageous).
• White Card.
• Full Australian work rights
