About the company:Our client sells and services earthmoving machinery, mining equipment, mobile cranes, tower cranes, maritime cranes as well as foundation and piling equipment throughout Australia and New Zealand.About the role:We are on the hunt are for experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our reputable client’s team. You will be working afternoon shift (2:00pm to 10.06pm). You will be responsible for the safe, efficient and compliant, inspection, repair and overhaul services to major components for large roadable items in their workshop based in Para Hills West.Duties:Disassembly, measurement, and inspection of componentsRequest required spare partsOperate workshop equipment including overhead cranes, Hydraulic Torque Tooling, Induction heaters and various MHERebuild, repair, and overhaul mechanical and hydraulic components from large scale mining equipmentParticipate in OEM trainingQualifications & Skills required:Certificate III Engineering (Mechanical/Fitter & Turner)High Risk Licence LFDG & EWP Tickets highly desirableLarge excavator / haul truck experienceMining equipment experienceHighly competent in the use of measurement equipment to tight tolerancesAbility to read and interpret drawings, technical specifications and manualsA valid National Police Check (no older than 6 months)Pass a full functional Pre-Employment MedicalWhat’s in it for you?$63.09 p/h + penaltiesAfternoon shift - 2:00pm to 10:06pmPermanency after a qualifying periodUn-capped budget for further trainingAll tools and PPE provided on-siteGet in touch!To apply for this position please select the Apply Now button and forward your resume in MS Word format only.
